Winter is the time for…what?

Winter time Tori Kayson

Nothing beats a bowl of chili (or insert your favorite soup) to warm up a belly on a cold, blustery night. And I can’t think of any other wintertime activity I enjoy more than hunkering inside, hanging out with hubby in front of a warm fire. I don’t even mind the time change, where darkness sets in by five thirty or six in the evenings. That just means more time to read or graze on Hallmark movies. lol.

By the time spring rolls around and the temps heat up, I’ll be ready for the extra hour of daylight.

What’s your favorite aspect of winter? Least favorite?

“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.” Edith Sitwell

    • Yum! Sounds great. Especially since it’s supposed to cool down again. If we had a few more days like this, Jill, your friends would be back. 🕊🌸 And we’d have to crank up the lawn mowers. Enjoy that chili. 💕
